James G Biddle Co incorporated in USA

1936

James Biddle was an importer of Megger insulation testers and later started manufacturing high voltage test instruments. Based in the beautiful National Park of Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, the high voltage tradition continues as Megger’s major site for cable fault location equipment and transformer test equipment.

Multi-Amp is founded

Thyssen-Bornemisza Group

1991

’TBG is a privately owned industrial conglomerate based in Switzerland. Thyssen-Bornemisza Group acquires all companies within the AVO group.
